He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Davis and Ella Mae Davis; his adoptive parents, Joannah Davis and Longtime; and his brother Alex Davis.
He is survived by: his children, Clyde Fields, Reginald Scott (Tasha), Claude L. Davis Jr., Dewayne Baldwin, Catherine (Jonathan) of Washington, Cynthia Fields (Randy), Claudine V. Davis-Armstead (Kendric), Latoya C. Davis Lloyd (David) and Victoria Davis-Toney (John); his close friend Paulette Elzey; and his sisters, Lois A. Davis and Doris Carey. He is also survived by forty-three grandchildren, thirty-six great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
