She is survived by: her daughter Sharlene Jones (Brad); and her grandchildren, Bernita Whitsett (Mark), Kendrell Jones of New Orleans, LA., Monique Semone Carlos (Dominic) of Mesa, Arizona, Willie Benson of New Orleans, LA, Fred Jones, Jr. of New Orleans, LA and David Celestine, Jr. of Mesa, Arizona. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Majestic Mortuary (1833 Oretha Castle Haley Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70113). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. Burial will be private. Due to COVID-19, everyone attending is encouraged to wear masks and adhere to social distancing.
