We are sad to announce that on June 29, 2023, at the age of 65, Chris Anthony Jacques Sr. (New Orleans, Louisiana), born in Compton, California passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Chris Anthony Jacques Sr. to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elliot Jacques and Gertie Mae Black Jacques; his sibling Kim Jacques; his aunt Shirley Mae Black; and his uncles, Ernest and Charles Black.

He is survived by: his children, Monica Lynn Jacques, Jasmin Nicole Matthews, Bradlee Jacques-Jones (Trey) and Jayson Anthony Jones; and his sisters, Monica P. Jacques and Wanda Jacques Simmons. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and host of other relatives and friends.

Chris was a remarkable and sweet man as you know, kind, funny and a big smile. Willing to help anyone. But he also would let you know what was on his mind. I know his children and grandchildren will miss him terribly. We all will each miss Chris in our own way . We have been Blessed for knowing Chris. Prayers for all 🙏”
