It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cheryl Lynette Morrison-Williams of New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on August 16, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Cheryl shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Cheryl farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel Williams; her child Korey Williams; and her sibling Danell Thomas. She is survived by: her children, Kristy Williams and Brandon Williams (Irine); her grandchildren, Brian Hewitt Jr. and Korey Williams; and her siblings, James Morrison Jr., Kerilynn Adams and Joylene Batiste Baker (Charles). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
