Tate; his children, Christy Tate, Julyan Paynes, Darren (Kristen) of Houston, TX and Ernest (Jennie) of Nashville, TN.; and his grandchildren, Imani, Nia Young, Darren Howard, Jr., Gabriel Howard and Ethan Dickerson.
