With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Celeste Cavalier Williams-Allen (New Orleans, Louisiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 13, 2025 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Williams Sr. and Edna Carr Williams; her spouse Sampson Allen Sr. The; her grandparents, Lucille Puckett Carr, Eddie Carr and Rose Williams; her aunts, Helen Carr, Minnie Rose Jones and Thelma Bozeman; her siblings, Laurita Hymel, Joseph Williams Jr. and Oval Lee Williams; her nephews, Joseph Williams III, Alexis Williams and Sidney Brooks III (Tamika); and her cousin Ronald Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Sampson Allen Jr., Dan Allen Sr. and Ronald Allen; her grandchildren, Danielle Allen-Roche (Koatney), Dan Allen Jr. (Adrene), Danitra Allen, Shontrea Allen, Nikole Richardson, Justin Lang, Janea Lang, Jeremy Piper, Christopher Piper and Carrington Allen; her great grandchildren, Inari Bieniemy, Aidan Allen, Baelal Ghanem Jr., Saint Allen and Halo Allen; her sibling Terriedell Brooks; her children-in-law, Darrelyn Allen, Cynthia Allen and Jennifer Sears; her nieces and nephews, Tema Hymel, Givonna Hymel-Lumpkins (Melvin), Rashad Brooks (Danyell), Brandy Brooks-Hart, Crystal Williams and Quiana Ferguson (Charles); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ashtyn Pierre, Toshiba Brooks, Rashad Brooks Jr., Niyori Brooks, Rayshawn Brooks, Jade Brooks, Alton Williams, Joseph Williams IV, Mytisha Williams, Ashaushanda Williams, Aquarius Williams and Alexis Williams; her cousins, Dr. Calvin Martin Jones (Victoria), Gary Jones (Christina) and Stephen Johnson (Janet); her close friend Victoria Lewis; and also, Micheal Amos Jr., Sydney Brooks, Sidnae Brooks, Innacence Reed-Brooks and Janiyah Lee.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the New Home Ministries (1616 R. C. Blake Blvd., New Orleans, LA). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
