It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecile Dora Hurst-Faulk (New Orleans, Louisiana), who passed away on September 7, 2018, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Nicols; her sister Dorothy Foster; her son Frederick Faulk; her brothers, Warren Hurst, Leroy Hurst, Harry Hurst and Bernard Hurst; and her grandson Teron Jelani Crawford.

She is survived by: her sons, Kinzie, Ebenezer, Raymond, Rene (Samantha), Marshall Faulk and Joseph Hurst; her sister Irma McElveen; and her friends, Pastor and Officers. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, other loving relatives and friends.
