He was predeceased by: his father Eldridge Byes; his grandparents, Clarence, Geneva Benn, Horace and Josephine Byes; and his brothers, Elliott Byes and Kendrick Byes.
He is survived by: his son Bryant Byes, Jr.; his mother Judith Benn Byes; and his siblings, Berlin Byes, Ray Lee, Florenda Whiting, Stephanie Byes and Elaine Newton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
