He was predeceased by: his father Warren Mark Ramirez; and his niece Charlotte Leigh Hamner (Charlotte Gottesman). He is survived by: his mother Beverly Petty Ramirez; his wife Michele Fontenot Ramirez; his children, Blakeley Martin (Harrison) and Tyler Ramirez; his grandson Bennett Martin; his siblings, Karen Eldridge (John), Jene LeBlanc (Willie Reale) and Rochelle Beychok (Michael); and also Brent. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Rita Catholic Church (2729 Lowerline St, New Orleans, LA 70125). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
