With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Jean Jackson of New Orleans, Louisiana, born in McCall Creek, Mississippi, who passed away on June 21, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Idelle Martin and Lewis Martin; and her brother John Alton Martin. She is survived by: her children, Susan Velichko, Thomas Jackson III and Toni Groselle; and her grandchildren, Tiffany, Samantha, Melissa, Paige, Thomas IV, Britanny, Michael and Geoffrey. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
