He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Charles and Fennie Charles; his sisters, Rhodie Nance and Gertrude Baker; and his niece Candice Nance.
He is survived by: his siblings, Dallas, Ferdinand (Doris), Felton, Stanley (Gail), Ronald (Alece), Joyce and Patricia. He is also survived by children, he leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Murray Henderson Funeral Home (1209 Teche St, New Orleans, LA 70114). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
