She was predeceased by: her husband William O. Knowles, Sr.; her parents, Isabell Smith and Herschel Smith, Sr.; and her brothers, Herschel Smith, Jr. and James Smith.
She is survived by: her sons, William "Bill" O. Knowles, Jr., Kenneth M. Knowles (Laurie) and Christopher D. Knowles; her siblings, Larry Smith and Sherry Kraus; her grandchildren, William O. Knowles III, Kristyn K. Dadlez, Alexandra O. Knowles, Elizabeth K. Cowart, Caroline K. Landry and Kennedie Knowles; and her great grandchildren, Eleanor "Nora", Theodore "Teddy", Oliver, James and Christopher.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mary Catholic Church (500 Eliza St, New Orleans, LA 70114). A Mass will be held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Westlawn Memorial Park (1225 Whitney Ave., Terrytown, LA 70056).
