She was predeceased by: her parents, Laura Williams and Thomas G. H. Patrick; her son Manuel Jr. (Dune); her grandson Jabari Walters; and her daughter-in-law Keeshian J. Mackie.
She is survived by: her husband Manuel O. Mackie Sr.; her son Miguel P. Mackie (Tonika Lockhart-Mackie); her sister Beverly Patrick; her grandchildren, Jordan Mackie (Luz Mackie), Patrick Mackie, Brenden Mackie, Candace Walters and Joan S. Walters; and her cousin Linda Smith. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, extended family, and many dear friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Second Free Mission Baptist Church (1228 Burdette St, New Orleans, LA 70118). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A repast was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
