Barbara C. Marcus Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 10, 2024, at the age of 93, Barbara C. Marcus in New Orleans, Louisiana, born in Fort Worth, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Bess Cohn and Dr. Maurice H. Cohn; and her son Walter F. Marcus. She is survived by: her children, Barbara Kimmell (Bamsie) and Adam (B. Marcus); her daughter-in-law Linda Novak; and her grandchildren, David Kimmell, Beth Snyder, Andrew Marcus, Catherine Marcus, Stephen Marcus, Walt Marcus, Bo Marcus, Victoria Marcus, Caroline Marcus and Eli Marcus. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Metairie Cemetery (5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124).
