With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Augustine Washington of New Orleans, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 30, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Washington, Jr. and Alberta Washington; and her brothers, Warren (Ethel) and Irvin Washington. She is survived by: her sibling Shirley Phillips (late Alvarez); and her nieces and nephews, Patranella, Donnie, Irvin, Shondell, Terdell, John Irvin Washington, Debbie Steward, Katina, Kacy Phillips and Keiara Thierry. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, great and great great nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Second Baptist Church (2836 Sullen Pl, New Orleans, LA 70131). A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. FACE MASKS ARE RECOMMENDED.
