Though Augustine may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Hampton and Julia Hampton. She is survived by: her daughters, Tiffany Lewis and Chavontaa Murray-Batiste; and her grandchildren, Tiffany Davis, Charlea, Charlaa Davalie and James Batiste, Jr.. She is also survived by five stepdaughters, three stepsons, two Godchildren, a host of step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Charbonnet Funeral Home - Treme' (1615 St Philip St, New Orleans, LA 70116). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
