She was predeceased by: her parents, Vassar Wherritt Mills and John R. Mills. She is survived by: her son John E. Nolan, Jr. (Angie); her grandchildren, Abigail Nolan and Joey Nolan; her brother Robert Mills; her sister-in-law Sheila; her sister Winnie Mills; and her close friend Denise Jacobs. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
