She was predeceased by: her parents, John Vintrella and Alice Dominque Vintrella; her former husband Donald Johnson; and her siblings, Carlo Vintrella, Jenny LeBlanc, Delores Meinke, Ethel Brooks and Rose Fenasci.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Lusignan (Thomas), Julie Johnson (Warren) and Karen Benigno (Salvador); her sisters, JoAnn Tompkins and Diane Peterman; her sister-in-law Patricia Vintrella; her grandchildren, Maurina (Jamey), Tara, Joey (Cherie'Kay) and Traci; her great grandchildren, Giuliana, Gianmarco, Francesca, Alessandra, Luke and Jude; and her friend Janie May. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home (5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, October 14th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of Divine Providence Catholic Church Building Fund at 1000 North Starrett Road, Metairie, LA 70003.
