It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvin Reed (New Orleans, Louisiana), who passed away on December 30, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey, Jr. Reed and Alice Reed; and his sister Sylvia Barbarin. He is survived by: his spouse Jean Dase Reed; his children, Alisen Reed and Shawn Collins (Keisha); and his brothers, Harvey, III, Terrance Reed, Sr., Gerald Sr., Larry, Darrell and Kent Reed. He is also survived by loving Godchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
