He is survived by: his children, Terrence Gerard Richard, Kent Michael Richard and Wendy Michelle Richard; his daughters-in-law, Rose Quezergue and Gwendolyn Alexis Richard; his grandchildren, Nikolaus Charles Richard (Bianca), Brandon Joshua Richard, Natalie Quezergue Richard, Isabel Grace Bunn, Gabriel Joseph Bunn, Melissa Alexis Lindsey and Neal Anthony Robert; his great grandchildren, Brayden Aymar and Brixton Wade Richard; his brother Irvin Richard; and his siblings-in-law, Dr. Charmaine LeCesne Young, Errol LeCesne, Dr. Terrel LeCesne, Kenneth LeCesne, Blaine LeCesne, Norvin LeCesne and Diane LeCesne Kelly.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Katherine Drexel Chapel at Xavier University (3932 Pine St, New Orleans, LA 70125). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
