He is survived by: his wife Ethel Martin; his children, Alvin Martin Jr. (Nanette), Wilbert Martin, Peter Martin (LaShawda) and Lorie Martin; his sisters, Helen Morrison and Carol Walker (John); his sisters-in-law, Brigid Martin, Velez White and Sue Jones; his grandchildren, Alexandria (Chevy), Victoria, Karissa, Joshua, Kevin, Nathaniel, Alvin John Paul and Lance; and his great grandchild Ava. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church (455 Ames Blvd, Marrero, LA 70072). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
