He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Saputo and Leona Giangrosso Saputo; his father-in-law Frank Gagliano, Sr.; and his brothers-in-law, Jack Gagliano and Joseph Gagliano.
He is survived by: his significant other Anna Gagliano Saputo; his children, Leona Phylis Saputo and Joseph Frank Saputo; his brothers, Joseph Saputo (Wanda), Paul Saputo (Juliana), Sal Saputo (Jeanne) and Ronnie Laporte; his mother-in-law Phylis Rizzuto Gagliano; and his siblings-in-law, Frank Gagliano, Jr. (Gina), Philip Gagliano (Mary), Hetty Gagliano (Joseph) and Brenda Brunet (Jack). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, as well as, many friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Greenwood Funeral Home (5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Greenwood Funeral Home Chapel (5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124).
