It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Yvonne Mary Ledet (New Iberia, Louisiana), who passed away on April 2, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Albert Ledet, Jr., Leroy Ledet, Herman Ledet, Bobby Ledet, Pearl Fontenot and Betty Provost.
She is survived by: her daughters, Andrea Mitchell, Kimberly Jean-Batiste and Angela Jean-Batiste; her grandchildren, Stefan Jean-Batiste, Seth Jean-Batiste, Arlington Sayrie, Kersha Broussard, Brandon Sayrie, Asa Roy, Carlton Francis, III, Diego Trailer, Angelynne Trailor and Benjimen Walker; and her siblings, Curtis Ledet, Raymond Ledet, Shirley Gadison, Alice Thompson, Audrey Charles, Fanny Charles and Lily Rodriguez. She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church (1100 Chiasson St, Scott, LA 70583). A rosary was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
