He was predeceased by: his former wife Sandra Hollier Guidry; his parents, Elias Guidry, Jr. and Mary Helen Fermental; and his siblings, Hope Fulmer and Christopher Guidry.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Guidry (Joey Cote') of Youngsville, Michelle Guidry, David Guidry (June) of San Antonio, Jon Guidry (Cara) of Dacula, Ryan Guidry (Sherlyn) of Youngsville and William "Billy" Guidry (Erin) of New Iberia; his fiancé Laurel Boutte Higgins; his grandchildren, Abbie Baldridge, Chloe Guidry, Claire Guidry, Emma Guidry, Lee Guidry, Hayden Dugas, Addison Guidry, Lindsay Ploch, Kadyn Taylor, Cassandra Cote' and Calissa Cote; and his sisters, Molly Guidry and Spring Stansbury (Roland Stansbury, Jr.).
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 18th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the St. Marcellus Catholic Cemetery (6100 Avery Island Rd, New Iberia, LA 70560).
