He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard McMillian-Ausberry and Ada McMillian-Ausberry; his siblings, Alberta, Della, Sam, Richard, Arlander, Lonnie, Bennie, Robert, Alex, Woodrow and Blanche; and his grandparents, Richard, Sr., Tillie Ausberry, Sam, Nancy McMillian and Preston, Sr..
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Cheri; his son Verge Samuel Ausberry, II (Cheri); and his grandsons, Austin of Baton Rouge, LA and Jaiden Ausberry of Baton Rouge, LA.
