She is survived by: her daughters, Anita Channette of New Iberia, LA and Marlena Fontenot of Hampton, GA; her sister Thelma Fontenot; her grandchildren, Nicole Channette of Youngsville, LA, Felicia Channette of Lafayette, LA, Missy Walker (Travon) of New Iberia, LA, Joshua McGruder of Atlanta, GA, Joshua Fontenot of Atlanta, GA and Jesse Williams of Illinois; her great grandchildren, Shayne Charles, Alexis Charles, Christian Walker, Taylr Channette, Caylee Walker, Terrance Brown, Jr. and Andrea Brown; her great great grandchild Taicyn Davis; and her goddaughter Della Zenon. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends she loved.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Journet & Bolden Funeral Home, Inc. (711 S Corinne St, New Iberia, LA 70560). A rosary was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St Edward Catholic Church (175 Ambassador W Lemell Dr, New Iberia, LA 70560).
