We are sad to announce that on October 15, 2023, at the age of 78, Ulysse Paul Lopez of New Iberia, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Lopez and Lucy Viator Lopez; his wife Barbara Babin Lopez; his granddaughter Abby Lopez; and his sisters, Delores Buteaux and Jenny Romero.

He is survived by: his children, Michelle Vallot (Todd) of Youngsville, Jody Chevalon (Etienne "Brush") of New Iberia and Joey "Poncho" Lopez (Jamie) of New Iberia; his grandchildren, Dusty Vallot (Ashlyn), Tyler Vallot (Katie), Madyson Vallot, Cigi Kappel (Kirk) and Hunter Lopez; and his great grandchildren, Tanner Vallot, Dalton Vallot and Kate Kappel.
