He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Arcement and Camilla Thibodeaux Arcement; and his siblings, JoAnn Rivette, Hazel LeBlanc, Gloria Vincent, Doris Campbell, Edward and Minus Arcement.
He is survived by: his wife Bessie; his children, Robert Arcement Jr. of New Iberia, Troy Arcement of New Iberia and Valerie Blanchard (Michael) of Cypress, Texas.; and his brother Harry Arcement of Loreauville.
