He is survived by: his wife Rose Mary; his children, Paulette Graugnard (David) of New Iberia, Milissa Hebert (Marcel) of Sugarland, TX, Rene Broussard, Jr. (Pam) of Montgomery, TX and Wiggy Broussard (Lindy) of New Iberia; his grandchildren, Emily Stephens, Natalie Himmel, Courtney Allis, Joshua Hebert, Amanda Baca, Allie Broussard, Mason Broussard, Molly Germany and Jack Germany; his caregivers, Ann Fusilier, Brent Joseph, Sherry Nicholas and Charlene Schaubert; his grandson Bevan; his great grandchildren, Cayden Hebert and Slade Stephens; his sons-in-law, David Graugnard, Marcel Hebert and Lindy Broussard; and his friends, Dr. G. D. Sagrera, Dr. Martin DeGravelle, Jr., Charlie Williams and Lou LeBlanc.
