Jefferson of New Iberia, Louisiana, born in Lafayette, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 19, 2024 at the age of 69. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louetta Mae Jefferson and Wilma Daniel; his grandparents, Mattie, Walter Johnson, Adrian and Lucille Daniel; his siblings, Michelle Blaise and Allen Daniel; his stepmother Helen Daniel; and his aunts and uncles, Mattie Lee Lavine, Brenda Johnson, JoAnn Allen, Rev. Charles Johnson, Sr., Russell "Slim" Fontenette, Sr. of Edward, Jefferson and Alton Lavine.
He is survived by: his daughters, Khara'A. Jefferson (Ty Bacchus) and Kayla Jefferson-Ledet (Donald Ledet, Jr.); his grandchildren, Jaeden Jefferson, Kynnedi and Khloe Ledet; his siblings, Kevin Jefferson (Karen), Terrell Jefferson, Michael Jefferson (Katherine), Edward Fontenette (Katherine), Donald Ray Daniel (Yolanda), Craig Daniel (Tommie), Elizabeth Jefferson and Doris Daniel; his aunts, Lydia Fontenette and Thelma Chevalier; and his pet Lily.
