He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Louise Faught Broussard; his daughter Renee Simoneaux; his son-in-law Paul Standridge; his parents, Reniel Broussard and Denise Broussard; his siblings, Harold, Mayo, Nolan Broussard, Loulabelle Tauzin and Hazel Broussard; and his great great grandchild Lucy Standridge.
He is survived by: his children, Hazel Standridge (Jack), Regina Maraist (Charles), Larry Broussard (Dawn), Melinda Bernard (Jay), Shari Babin (Darren) and Lori Solarie (Ronald); his son-in-law Troy Simoneaux; and his close friend Mari Cosper. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his memory to a charity supporting veterans, locally the Arnaudville VFW Post 5153, 1261 Courtableau Hwy., Arnaudville, LA 70512.
