He was predeceased by: his daughter Jennifer June Barrideaux Vital; his siblings, Hilton Barrideaux, Hilson Barrideaux, Melvin Barrideaux, Verna Lee Barrideaux, Leanna Barrideaux Lazard, Lillian Barrideaux Brown, Eunice Barrideaux Simmons, Aline Barrideaux Reaux, Nettie Lee Barrideaux and Emma Barrideaux Shaw; his grandsons, Mark Vital, Jr. and William "Little Bill" Russell, Jr.; and his son-in-law Mark Vital, Sr..
He is survived by: his close friend Katherine Conway Barrideaux; his daughters, Ashanti Barrideaux and Kathy Louise Barrideaux Russell (William "Bill"); his grandchildren, Ramon Russell (Kyla), Kim Russell, Patrick Mouton (Sonni), Bryan Latula and Samuel Vital; his great grandchildren, Reid Russell, Camille Russell, Cruz Russell, Brittany Russell, William Russell, III, Justus Mouton, Yanna Mouton, Kristen Russell and Janell St. Julian; and his great great grandchildren, Kennedy Mouton and Cash Russell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Journet & Bolden Funeral Home, Inc. (711 S Corinne St, New Iberia, LA 70560). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
