He is survived by: his wife Barbara Dore'Romero; his children, Melanie Steele (Roy), Rocky Romero (Inga) and Brian Romero (Sheila); his grandchildren, Ryan Derouen (Betsy), Beau Derouen (Jaide), Ashley Nelson (Duston), Tiffany Stevens (Michael), Micah Romero, Kayla Meaux (Jesse), Brennan Romero (Harleigh) and Brody Romero (Abbie); his great grandchildren, Noah Derouen, Lily Derouen, Poppy Derouen, Daisy Derouen, Logann Sysavath, Isabella Derouen, Jolie Derouen, Aidyn Nelson, Dylan Nelson, Courtney Robicheaux (Zach Robicheaux), Katie Stevens, Gavin Stevens, Gabrielle Stevens, Grace Stevens, Sadie Romero, Cy Romero, Jayla Meaux, Katie Meaux, Jesse Meaux II, Kye Romero and Nylaa Romero; his great great grandchild Tyler Robicheaux; and his siblings, Rita Menard and Shirley Viator.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at 1411 E Admiral Doyle Dr, New Iberia, LA 70560.
