He was predeceased by: his mother Willie Mae Daye; his aunt Gloria Mae Daye; and his grandparents, Edward Daye and Evangeline Johnson Daye. He is survived by: his sister Evangeline "Van" Marie Daye of New Iberia, LA; and his aunt Mildred Hartman of Houston, TX. He is also survived by cousins and many friends.
