She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hoffpauir and Dorothy Turner Hoffpauir; her husband Jan P. Morel, Sr.; and her sisters, Beverly Sedotal and Margie Hebert.
She is survived by: her children, Jan Patrick Morel, Jr. (MeLisa) of Foley, William Craig Morel, Sr. (Donna) and Lisa Morel Delcambre of New Iberia; her grandchildren, Chanlyn Delcambre, Patrick Delcambre, Craig Morel, Jr. (Eryn), Jenna Morel Latiolais (Kevin), Jill Morel, Jeffery Morel (Bethany) and Kenny Dupre; her great grandchildren, Ethan David (Alisha Thammavongsa), Hannah David (Jordan Morvant), Lindsay Comeaux (Colin Faulk), Lily Morel, Camille Morel, Maggie Morel, Annie Morel, Ozzie Latiolais, Zoe Latiolais, Landen Aphaiyarath and Liam Aphaiyarath; and her great great grandchildren, Leon David, Luka David, Harper Morvant and Jett Morvant. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pellerin Funeral Home (502 Jefferson Terrace, New Iberia, LA 70560). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
