It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona Olivier of New Iberia, Louisiana, who passed away on January 23, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Kauby Joseph Olivier; her parents, Joseph Raggette and Augustine Olivier Raggette; and her siblings, Alton Raggette, Cleveland Raggette, Edgar Raggette, Sr., Wilfred Raggette, Sr. and Willie Mae Nelson.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph D. Olivier of Grand Marias, LA; her daughter Charmaine O. Westley (Shane, Sr.) of New Iberia, LA; her grandchildren, Shane Westley, Jr. and Jayden Westley of New Iberia, LA; and her siblings, Alfred Raggette (Gail) of Grand Marias, LA and Gladys Tauriac of New Iberia, LA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
