She was predeceased by: her siblings, Isaac Alexis Jr., JoAnn Alexis Mannifield and Velma Alexis Barnet. She is survived by: her husband Ronald J. Placide; her daughter Tammie Alexis Henry (Bernard); her grandchildren, Ronald J. Spencer, III (Rashonda), Courtney L. Frederick, Taylor B. Henry and Bernard Henry, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Cierra Williams and Dominic Glover; and her siblings, Andrew Alexis Sr. (Eliza), Alton Alexis (Althea), Edward Alexis, Junius Alexis (Carla), James Alexis (Sharona) and Mary Louise Manual (Armstrong). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 8:00 AM at the Journet & Bolden Funeral Home (711 S Corinne St, New Iberia, LA 70560). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
