Karl J. Bigler Jr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Karl J. Bigler Jr. of New Iberia, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 22, 2025 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Karl J. Bigler Jr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl, Sr. Bigler and Willamette Aucoin Bigler; his wife Lee; his son Karl James Bigler, III; and his sister Babs Prentice.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael D. Bigler (Devin) and Christopher R. Bigler (Amy); his grandchildren, Hannah Hume (James), Sarrah Sonnier, Noah Bigler (Rachel), Olivia Bigler, Caroline Bigler, Molly Bigler and Jack Bigler; his great grandchild Eliza Hume; and his brother-in-law Charles Prentice.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pellerin Funeral Home - New Iberia (502 Jefferson Terrace, New Iberia, LA 70560). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Rip Van Winkle Gardens (Bayless Center).
In lieu of flowers, the Bigler Family requests donations to Catholic High School, 1301 De La Salle Drive, New Iberia LA 70560, directed to the Bigler Family Scholarship.
