He is survived by: his wife Shirley Lovan Gaddison of New Iberia, LA; his children, Alvin Gaddison (Linda) of New Iberia, LA, Mose Gaddison Sr. (Andrea) of New Iberia, LA, Terry Gaddison (Gailor) of New Iberia, LA, Edward Gaddison (Lisa) of New Iberia, LA, James Gaddison of New Iberia, LA, Leroy Joseph of New Iberia, LA, Troy Guidry of New Iberia, LA, Ella G. Nelson of New Iberia, LA and Geraldine Lavergne (Ted) of Mamou, LA; his stepchildren, Patricia V. Simon (Phillip) of New Iberia, LA, Gwendolyn V. Barlow (Dale) of New Iberia, LA, Geraldine Verdun of New Iberia, LA, Sarah V. Roberts (Jasper) of New Iberia, LA and Tom Verdun, Jr. of Washington, DC; and his grandchildren, Keith Provost, Jr., Edward Gaddison, Jodeci Gaddison, Jonathan Junius Nelson, Quincy Joseph, Reginald Provost, Leroy Joseph, Jr. and Dondra Anthony. He is also survived by fifty-two grandchildren, one hundred three great-grandchildren, and forty-three great-great-grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
