It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Joseph Gardner Sr. (New Iberia, Louisiana), who passed away on February 7, 2019, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughters, Belinda Gardner and Lena Gardner; his grandsons, LaKeith Smothers, Jr. and Kanden Londo; his great grandchild Dillon Smothers; and his siblings, Herbert Gardner, Shirley Johnson and Annie Mae Gardner.
He is survived by: his wife Verna Mae Keal-Gardner of Birmingham, AL; his friend Belinda Londo of New Iberia, LA; his children, John Gardner, Jr. of New Iberia, LA, Charmaine Londo (Tawona) of New Iberia, LA, Lakeith Londo (Carla) of New Iberia, LA, Troy Londo of New Iberia, LA, Brian Londo of New Iberia, LA, Jermaine Londo of New Iberia, LA and Cindy Londo of New Iberia, LA; and his sister Lillie Mae Gardner of New Iberi, LA. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
