With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry John Trahan Sr. of New Iberia, Louisiana, who passed away on September 17, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emelus Trahan and Beulah Richard Trahan; and his sister Hazel Gonsoulin. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia "Cindy" Young Trahan of New Iberia; his children, Jerry "Jay" Trahan Jr. (Tara) of Charenton, Devon Trahan of New Iberia, Nicholas Trahan (Haylee) of New Iberia and Lyndsay Trahan of New Iberia; his grandchildren, Baylee Trahan, Peyton Trahan, Riley Trahan, Caroline Trahan, Tenlee Trahan and Carlee Trahan; his siblings, Terry Trahan (Gloria) of New Iberia, Shirley Arcement of Lafayette and Geraldine Babin (Hadley) of New Iberia; and also, Sandra Day of Bay St, Trula Coleman, Connie Savoy, Rose Charles, Arianna Charles, Cheryl Carter, Val Hypolite, Letetia Houston and Sarah Charles.
