She was predeceased by: her husband Larry "Oak" Aucoin; her parents, Robert Perez, Sr. and Carrie Hebert Perez; her siblings, Robert "RJ" Perez, Jr. and Mary Ann DeRise; and her sons-in-law, Ernest Landry, Jr. and Richard Pellerin, Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Karen Hoffpauir (Dwayne), Mary Landry, Larry Aucoin, Jr. (Judy), Margaret Pellerin, Ann Rogers and Diann LeBlanc (Ty); her brother Carroll Perez (Delores); and her sister-in-law Rona Perez. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Pellerin Funeral Home (502 Jefferson Terrace, New Iberia, LA 70560). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Pellerin Funeral Home - New Iberia (502 Jefferson Terrace, New Iberia, LA 70560).
