She was predeceased by: her parents, Saul Babin and Yola Bonin Babin; her husband John "Reggie" Viator, Sr.; her daughter Dina Viator Bourque; and her brothers-in-law, Olan Fremin, Lloyd Migues and Leslie Bienvenu.

She is survived by: her children, John Viator (Lori) and Kris Viator (Misty); her son-in-law Paul Bourque; her grandchildren, Jed Viator (Candi), Jade Viator, Connor Viator, Caroline Viator Robichaux (Samuel), Samantha Viator, Emily Viator, Skyla Bourque Lierman (Josh), Keagan Bourque (Taylor) and Kaylan Bourque Escuriez (Zach); her great grandchildren, Charlotte, Harper, Asher, Paisley, Ella, Ryker, Haddie, Bradley and Eli; and her sisters, Earline Fremin, Beverly Migues and Diane Bienvenu.

Jan also extended her dedication beyond the church, supporting her boys with the Coteau Youth Baseball Association and crafting baby booties for donation to Iberia Medical Center.
