He is survived by: his children, Sharon Latiolais, Katherine Robichaux (Morris) and Huey P. Romero, Jr.; his grandchildren, Brooke Gros (Kevin), Brittany Darbonne (Derrick) and Blake Latiolais (Courtney); his great grandchildren, McKenzie Darbonne, Kortlyn Darbonne, Kohen Darbonne, Brody Gros, Knox Gros, Tate Gros and Dax Gros; and his siblings, Gilbert Romero (Evelyn), Eunice Pellerin (Johnny), Clara Suire and Margaret Guidry (Wilton).
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church - New Iberia (2514 Old Jeanerette Rd, New Iberia, LA 70563). A rosary was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
