She was predeceased by: her parents, Pierre Trahan and Gonzales Trahan of Louisiana; and her siblings, Nolan Trahan, Donald Trahan, Barbara Hulse, Jimmy Trahan, Huey Trahan and Dot Boudreaux.
She is survived by: her husband Ovey Viator; her children, Pam Viator Wright (Kip), Dale Viator (Monique), Kevin Viator (Jessica), Katrina Viator Guidry (Orson), Donel Trahan and Nicole Viator; her siblings, Robert Trahan (Margaret), Gerald Trahan (Betty) and Rose T. Couvillier; her grandchildren, Amanda Wright, Brett Viator, Claire Moran, Maria Viator, Matthew Viator, Ian Viator, Nathan Viator, Hannah Viator, Jonathon Viator, Joshua Huval, Zoey Trahan, Taylor Martin and Nicholas Martin; and her great grandchildren, Liam Martin, Fernando Santos and Amelia.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Evangeline Funeral Home (314 E St Peter St, New Iberia, LA 70560). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Prompt Succor (2409 Coteau Rd, New Iberia, LA 70560).
