He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Paul Bernard and Ada Reaux Bernard; and his siblings, Polite Bernard, Paul Bernard, Neo Bernard, Albert Bernard, Victoria Bourque, May Blanchard and Cecile Romero.
He is survived by: his close friend Annie Bell of New Iberia, LA; and his sisters, Earline Denais of Abbeville, LA and Mary Lou Romero of New Iberia, LA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fletcher Funeral Home of New Iberia (609 W Admiral Doyle Dr, New Iberia, LA 70560). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
