Geraldine Romero Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 31, 2025, at the age of 75, Geraldine Romero of New Iberia, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Broussard and Inez Lasseigne Broussard; and her siblings, Mary Ann Hebert, John Kelly, Oran, Larry Broussard and Mitchell Jacquemoud.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Romero; her children, Tonya Romero (Todd Badeaux) and Shawn Romero (Paige); her granddaughters, Amber Latiolais, Andrea Thigpen (Adam Mader), Angelle Thigpen, Alyssa Romero (Randy Glancey) and Madelyn Romero; and her great grandchild Ella Kate Glancey.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Pellerin Funeral Home - New Iberia (502 Jefferson Terrace, New Iberia, LA 70560). A rosary was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church - New Iberia (2514 Old Jeanerette Rd, New Iberia, LA 70563). An entombment was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 3:15 PM at the Nativity of Our Lady Cemetery (130 N Richelieu Cir, New Iberia, LA 70560).
