He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman J. Gesser, Sr. and Stillman Folse Gesser. He is survived by: his daughters, Kimberly G. LeBreton (Guy) of Cade and Elizabeth Dorsey (Dustin) of Lafayette; his grandchildren, Hunter J. LeBreton (Caroline), Madeline E. LeBreton, Evan C. LeBreton and Chase M. Dorsey; his great grandchild Liam J. LeBreton; his brothers, Herman J. Gesser, Jr., Edgar A. Gesser, Sr. and Byron J. Gesser. Sr.; and the mother of his children Charlotte P. Gesser.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Frioux-David Funeral Home of New Iberia (1101 Trotter St, New Iberia, LA 70563). A Mass was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Peter Catholic Church (108 E St Peter St, New Iberia, LA 70560).
