He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes Harrington Rogers and Augustine Rogers; his siblings, Betty Jean Rogers Dartez (Gloria Dean Rogers Robicheaux) and Jimmy Rogers; and his brother-in-law Herbert "Boo" Dartez (John Lee Robicheaux).
He is survived by: his wife Gwenlyn Landry Rogers; his children, Mike Rogers (Sharon), Kathy Rogers Hollier (Donald), Stephen Rogers, Brian Rogers (Debbie) and Deneen Rogers Arabie (Cliff); his grandchildren, Stacie Rogers Cooke, Cory Rogers, Shane Rogers, Pamela Boutte, Alex Wazenkewitz, Eric Guidry, Katie Hollier Romero, Donovan Hollier, Damian Hollier, Cal Rogers, Craig Rogers, Cassie Rogers, Cortni Rogers Segura, Chantel Arabie Peltier, Danielle Arabie Charpentier and Brittany Arabie Bourque; his brother Donald "Don" Rogers (Betty Fitch); his brother-in-law Greg Landry (Mei); and his godchildren, Tracy Comer and Marnell Fremin. He is also survived by 36 great grandchildren, and 5 great- great grandchildren.
