With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edwina Jones Livingston of New Iberia, Louisiana, who passed away on April 13, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Harrison McKinley Jones, Sr. and Julia Lewis Jones; and her siblings, Edward Jones, Sr. (Julia), Elliott Jones, Leroy Jones (Mabel), Harrison Jones, Jr. (Isabel), Murphy Jones (Catherine), Raleigh Jones (Gloria), Allen Jones, Namon Jones (Jo Ella), Calvin Jones (Marjorie) and Marjorie Jones Henry.
She is survived by: her sons, Donald Turner Jr. (Charlotte) of New Iberia, LA and Dean Turner Sr. (Jeneen) of Youngsville, LA; her grandchildren, Danielle Turner, Dean Turner, Jr., Daniel Turner and Drake Turner; her great grandchildren, Dorrian Turner, Desirae St. Julian and Nalani St. Julian; and her siblings-in-law, Theresa Jones of Cade, LA and Murphy Henry of New Iberia, LA.. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Mount Calvary Baptist Church - New Iberia (414 South Weeks Street, New Iberia, LA 70560). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
